We went a little off-the-beaten-track for dinner tonight. Mommy's pregnant, but Daddy had a craving for Borsch soup with lotsa lotsa sour cream! So, off we went to Borsch Steakhouse at Serangoon Gardens.

I've never been to that restaurant before, and the whole family was pleasantly surprised by their super low prices for set meals. For instance, Mommy had a Shrimp Cocktail, Mushroom Soup, Pepper Steak, Peach Melba and a cup of tea for only S$13.80! Daddy ordered a Baked Alaska for the whole family to share at the end of the meal, and it was the best dessert ever! We will definitely return to Borsch Steakhouse for more good meals.

After dinner, we wandered around the shops in Serangoon Gardens and stumbled upon a newly opened art gallery. The lady owner was very nice. She gave me sweets from Iran. They had these cute, little, furry lamps on sale and Daddy bought me a purple one (my favourite colour at the moment). Daddy also bought 4 art pieces with a communist theme.

So much for my adventures tonight!
